Chord Formation Techniques
When learning to play guitar it can be frustrating trying to form chords that actually sound good; chords that are vibrant, clear, and sustaining. Most of the time beginners don't have the necessary finger strength, or the correct technique. Finger strength will come with time and practice, but technique is better learned. Not to say that you won't have to practice, because you will. Forming chords can come different to different guitar players, but in this lesson we will give some tips on forming better sounding chords.

Changing Strings on a Floyd Rose
The Floyd Rose locking tremolo is a bridge system that has many advantages. The locking nuts allow a guitarist to utilize the whammy bar without worry of the strings de-tuning, and gives the user the option of "fine-tuning" the strings with the fine-tuning knobs; among other things. Now if you own a guitar with a Floyd Rose bridge you know and love it for these reasons, but one thing about this otherwise wonderful bridge will keep you up at night drenched in a cold sweat. Changing your strings.... Performing this seemingly simple task with a Floyd Rose-equipped guitar can sometimes drive you insane, and perhaps, for a fleeting moment, make you consider committing a heinous murder; but with the proper instruction, it can be a pleasant and rewarding experience right?
